Everyone knows Steep & Brew is the official coffee of The Morning Blend and we love drinking it, but here at the Blend, we cook with it too. Check out the latest recipe from The Morning Blend Test Kitchen.

½ C Diced Onions
3 Cloves Roasted Garlic
½ C Dried Cranberries
½ t Cinnamon
½ t Cumin
3 cloves
½ C Steep & Brew Coffee
1 C Chipotle Salsa
½ C Chicken Stock
2 squares semi sweet baking chocolate
½ C Almond Butter

Saute the onion, garlic, and dried cranberries over high heat until onions are soft and translucent. Add cinnamon, cumin, and cloves and mix well. Add coffee, salsa, chicken stock, chocolate and almond butter and simmer until items are melted and well mixed. Simmer another 5-10 minutes to mix flavors well. Puree sauce in blender or food processor until smooth. Strain sauce through strainer or food mill to remove chunks and give you a silky sauce. Serve with 1-2 portions of chicken or turkey.
